Setting yourself up for success this fall

Harvest is just around the corner and so are your yearly check-ups on equipment to ensure you're ready to go when the crop is. When preparing for harvest, don’t overlook the most vital technology that keeps you going.

Your display and receiver are the heartbeat of your equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring that the path you drove during the spring is the same path you will follow now. When preparing for the harvest season ahead, you should also consider how corrections accuracy can impact your current guidance setup. Configure farm and field information

Now let’s take it one step further. Has your fleet of harvest equipment been configured in your display? If not, now is the perfect opportunity to do so. Inputting tractor, field and farm data ahead of time will save you in the long run, and allows for flexibility in who operates the equipment, leaving you more time to manage other aspects of your operation.

Enable data syncing

You should also confirm that AutoSync has been enabled to sync your guidance lines from the planter to your harvest equipment. This advanced feature from PTx Trimble takes the time and energy out of creating new AB lines every time you enter the field.

Load prescription maps
